BUILT in 1890 by the Early's, one of Mackinac's original founding families, in 1961, Mary Gillespie Thompson returned to her island home and purchased the house where she raised her family. Her kids grown, she converted it into the Lilac House in 1991. Today, Mary's son Ken, and his wife LoriAnn, continue the Lilac House B&B tradition.
RESERVATIONS: Rates range from $95 to $195. Most rooms are double occupancy, please add $20 for each additional guest. A minimum deposit of one night's stay is applied toward final night and is refundable with 5 days notice. Most Credit Cards accepted. Premium may apply to holiday and festival dates. We cannot accept pets and smoking is allowed only on the porch.
